The Mad Political Scientist
Hocking loogies from the ivory tower
Hocking loogies from the ivory tower
I’m a political scientist, or perhaps more appropriately an aspiring one. I’m currently working on my PhD, and finished an MA almost two years ago. In the past, I’ve taught English, Criminal Justice, and Speech Communication classes. My interests are mostly in the realm of American Politics and Public Policy. Thus far, I’ve done work on Congressional behavior and ideology, race in American politics, and some work on measurement error and current polling techniques. I suppose one could say that I’m in that awkward spot between a full-fledged scientist and just a regular guy who follows politics fairly closely. I hope you’ll continue to visit this site, and let me try to bridge the gap. Political science is (at least for me) both fun and interesting. I hope you’ll give me the chance to share this field with you.
